Totally psyching about my Honors US History project. I should probably go do that, now that I think of it. I'm dying for vacation already. It's to the point where I feel the need to beg nature to get me sick. Yes, do come hither pneumonia - hit me w/ everything you got.
Oh & this is supposed to be a picture of me, just b-t-dubs.
Year of Silence by user7366404
December. It's one of my favourite months. The glittering, snow laden earth is silent, white, and consequently beautiful. The frost nips at the end of your nose and you now have a legitimate excuse to drink hot cocoa. Yep, that's how I view December.
So it snowed about a week ago and then it rained, like, two nights ago and now there's barely any snow left. Grrr. I happen to find the snow quite enjoyable. Well...until the sand trucks come by and dump hideous brown everywhere. Ugh.
Aside from that I was searching through the internet (as I often do) and found a Gemini Personality page. Normally, only about half of that stuff is true for me, but this was scary how accurate this was. Here are some things that were especially accurate in terms of me (and I will put my comments in a different color, let's say this Blue/Green/Grayish color); 1. The key phrase that best describes the Twins is “I think.” (Possibly one of my most overused sentences.) 2. Your mind never stops which can also makes you a bit on the nervous side but at least you are never boring and then again you may not be sticking around very long to become boring. (Aside from always getting jitters and being prone to anxiety attacks, I don't think I'm ever boring only because I'm so random. If not boring, then at least worthy of receiving a WTF.) 3. ...all this intense curiosity can leave you mentally drained causing you to retreat to recharge that others see as being moody... (My "me-time" is very important to me, and I will bite if provoked during it.) 4. ...portrayed as young children, and the curiosity of the youthful mind that is often reckless and impertinent also describes the Gemini temperament. (BAHAHAHAHA, okay, true story: "Okay, yeah, let's go do that!" *walks into tree*, "well that wasn't supposed to happen.") 5. You often take nothing seriously, or at least you don't delve long into anything too heavy, much like the innocent child. (Sadly enough, no, I don't take things seriously. I think that's why I'm so relaxed if I receive one F on a test or quiz in an honors class [not to mention my grade was probably a 90 or above to begin w/].) 6. ...you like intrigue, the excitement of the chase, but once you have made your conquest, you lose interest and begin looking around for the next adventure. (Sam agrees w/ this one, I get bored rather quickly w/ my stuff I already have.) 7. Even at your worst you are never boring - there is usually playfulness below the surface, and you can be brilliant conversationalists - but you can also be contrary, quarrelsome, and fickle. (I AM SO FICKLE. I never can make up my mind...ever.) 8. Physically Gemini’s are energetic, mentally high-strung, consequently often thin in the early years, and very hyper. You do need to watch your weight in later years when everyone’s metabolism tends to slow down because your nervous restlessness can cause many of you to over eat from your fidgety nature. (That slaps me on the knee! I used to be that scrawny five year old who looked like her head was too big for her body. And then...food happened.) 9. Most Gemini’s have a keen, quick, and often brilliant intelligence and you love mental challenges. But your concentration, though intense for a while, does not last. Your mental agility and energy gives you a voracious appetite for knowledge though you dislike the routine and discipline needed to learn or the focus to accomplish difficult educational goals to the end. (Please read boldface when possible.) 10. You are certainly a quick learn with almost everything requiring intelligence and mental dexterity and you are also able to combine this ability with manual skills giving you the potential for talent with your hands that takes a great deal of mental concentration... (Has ADHD. I hate school, but I love learning. I especially love learning when a teacher gets some balls to be good at their job. Hence Curry being the best teacher in the universe.) 11. Your intellect is very analytical and this can give you the ability to quickly discern all sides of a situation. However, this quick vacillation also makes it difficult for you to make up your mind. When faced with problems to solve you have little patience until you find a solution, and often you will just pick up the phone and ask everyone else you know for their input in the situation...Changing horses in the middle of the stream is another small quirk in the Gemini personality that makes decision making, and sticking to a decision, particularly hard for you. (I loathe the times when I have to choose b/w things. I am so freaking indecisive,) 12. In your better moments you may strive to be honest and straightforward, but self-interest is almost always the victor. (Yep. I will rarely do something if I don't get anything out of it.) 13. Creatively you do best with words but also your hands...Your restless, mental nature makes you a natural for being alone and writing for hours, which enables you to focus your brilliant mind, which in turns calms you down. You need to keep your mind focused on a creative outlet to stay centered and on the path towards financial success. (Hence love of words & art.) 14. Because you are detached, logical, rational and analytical you make good scientists. (I admit to experimenting in the kitchen when I was little...and older....) 15. Your financial plan is not to have a plan. Your reliance on adaptability and flexibility often works well for you! You have no trouble finding freelance work, so somehow everything works out. (As long as I'm doing something enjoyable and fresh for a living, I could care less about my financial standing [w/i reason].) 16. You love information, computers, telephones, the Internet, and you were practically born "wired." (Mainly computers & the Internet. I'ma technology freak.) 17. If you ever find yourself with a weight problem at all, it is because of nervous tension. You tend to eat quickly to calm yourself down. But for most twins you eventually get even bored with eating.... (Om nom nom. I love food.) 18. Another aspect of duality that pits the forces of the light and dark is within your body versus your mind. When the left hand hasn’t a clue what is happening in the right or when the mind is so preoccupied with mental processes that the physical body is neglected, that is when you know that the Gemini split is happening internally rather than externally. (That would be a very internal split for me, thank you.) 19. Emotionally as a Gemini you can be evasive, certainly complex and always contrary because of your dual nature. (I am so evasive emotionally. Sarcasm is my middle name. It's a good cover up...and I hate listening to people rant about how awful their lives are. They deserve a high five...in the face...with a chair.) 20. Children are wonderful when they are good and infuriating when they are mischievous. Like children you can be lively and happy, or selfish and restless. For you and children life is a game that must always be full of fresh moves and continuous entertainment, free of labor and routine. (I am exceedingly back & forth and much of the time am somewhat immature like a child. I also hate working & I hate routine. I like to just "go with the flow" as they say.) 21. You are also known as the magician and your incredible minds can come up with solutions as if pulled out of a hat that can help other’s see life’s problems in a whole new light. Not only does the Twins entertain us and keep us mentally alive but they come up with original ideas that can light up the world. You may be a handful but genius is never simple. (I personally don't feel that they are super amazing or anything, but I've been told some of my views/ideas/epiphanies are amazing...I still don't believe it, though.)

Peace out, lovely scouts.
It's always nice to start out a post with the word "ugh". Oh, and, this is going to be a rather short post b/c I am honestly tired of this sleep deprivation (no pun intended). By the by, started reading The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath by Sylvia Plath herself. The third page she tells the reader in a gross amount of detail how she gets some German guy Ilo's tongue shoved down her throat. Yeah, definitely not the nicest image in the world. Also started rereading the Hunger Games trilogy. This is due to my over-excitement @ seeing the new Hunger Games trailer for the movie that is to come out on 23 March 2012. I intend to and will go to the midnight premier. I also might watch it twice in a row @ the movie theatres. I have never read a book that you can read countless times other than the Hunger Games and any book in the trilogy. This would be my eleventh time in counting reading this book within the time frame of a mere 2 years. I read more than half of the first book in one sitting, which took a matter of only two wholesome hours. Peeta is my true love B-T-Dubbs. On a final note, I cannot color w/ Photoshop. Period. End of story. Caput. It is my forever eternal adversary. Want to see why? This is why:
Yesterday Sam && I drove to Bullmoose to get Florence Welch's new album called Ceremonials. Come to find out it didn't come out until 9pm. We were mighty angry after hearing that, but moreover bummed out. We went to Starbucks where I bought my 240 calorie grande Iced Caramel Macchiato && spent about 3 hours looking at all the Music//Books//Video-Games at Bullmoose && I bought a Japanese//English Dictionary for $4. && so, I've been listening to Ceremonials all morning. Thus far I must say that Bedroom Hymns && Strangeness and Charm are my favorite tracks. They are upbeat and amazing and Florence's Indie//Pop style makes me want to draw and paint and dance around without a care. She is super inspirational for me.
Yep, that was my Halloween. Oh, and there is SNOW on the ground at the moment. *Insert sigh* Oh Maine, how I just love your weather. {That was sarcasm}.
Julia - who, surprisingly, allowed me to put makeup on her.
A very bad pose of moi. This angle makes my face look super-round.
Izzy, Sammy && Sierra. Taking pictures in the candy isle of Walmart? Yeah, we're real cool.
We all went to see Puss in Boots//Paranormal Activity 3. && it started snowing! We lost power all night and then it came back on at like 12pm. We were all relieved to take showers. Yes, showers were nice. Also, the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins were devoured rather quickly I must say. They were tasty. The funny thing was, my grandmother had never made them before either. They were made from scratch: the good ole' fashion way. && they were delicioso. We all had fun {er, or at least I hope we all did...}. P . S . ; I can't wait until tomorrow! Halloween festivities: COMMENCE!
Video Production. Amen. Also, I've decided that I'll make a pact with COP//C and they will give me many of the COP//C markers which will force me into debt, where I will work my way out of debt with the art produced by the help of those said markers.
No.
I'm lying.
But I'd do it, you know I would.
I'm seriously asking for a 50 set for Christmas {which, in turn, is quite hilarious seeing as my family doesn't actually celebrate Christmas in the eyes of Christians. We're Norweigan. We believe in Santa. [I'm joking, we don't really believe in Santa, but that's our sad excuse for Christmas.]}.
I've recently been drawing nerdy anime//manga things lately, too. Yep, that's me: the Nerdy-Japanese-Obsessed-Girl-Who-Can-Draw. Story of my life. Yeah, that's right. I've been drawing Naruto characters. Honestly, though, I can honestly say that Kishimoto's style is magnificent and it has to be one of my favorites, if not my most favorite. His anatomy is amazing. But I must add that sometimes you can tell when he gets lazy in drawing//animating. Example: when he draws Sasuke in certain scenes. Sasuke's face is lopsided. It's horrid. It makes me cry.
NOT TO MENTION, again with the Christmas thing, that today is the launch of the new Naruto Shippuden movie {Naruto Shippuden: the Move 2 - Bonds}. I asked for that too from *cough-cough* Santa.
Recently I had been doubting what I wanted to do when I was older. After playing Final Fantasy XIII for more than 30 hours straight without the red ring of death appearing on my XBOX, I then again fell in love and re-inspired myself to go into the work field of gaming graphics && character//story development. I also had a realization that I can always do more than one job. I can have one profession and then have a past time as well.
As a final note, I would like to say that I've been incredibly lazy this week. && I think maybe a part of it is b/c I never seem to sleep long enough? It's that season again: when all you want to do at six in the morning is stay in your bed when it's warm. To hell with school!
&& There will be a little "get-together" w/ my sister Sierra and a few other friends this Saturday. We'll be enjoying each other's company while watching Tim Burton movies and drinking Apple Cider. Maybe I'll make cookies, too. Halloween cookies? All will be decided sooner than later.

As you may all be aware, Steve Jobs is now deceased. And with this devastation (or celebration, depending on your view of the computer world - as horrible as it stands), I thought I would share this epic debate my friend Oliva (from Of Horsefeathers) and Paul had.

So today is our first Featured Blogger, Olivia, the owner of an amazing blog called Horsefeathers which you can find by clicking here. And so, without further ado, this is what I give you.
* * *
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Humm. I think most people who know of me but don't really know me would tell you this: she's that chick with curly hair who wears weird stuff all the time. They might know I'm in drama club. They might know I like to write and draw. But generally I'm the chick with curly hair who dresses like the lovechild of a hippie and a 90s Wiccan lesbian. And wears high heels every day.
What got you into blogging?
Long story short, I basically just had an interesting life... so I wrote about it. As my life got progressively more average I kept at it, and... here I am.
What do you want to do as a job when you're older/ what are you currently doing as a job?
Currently I'm a graphic designer, but I'd like to go to college for fashion journalism. And I'd like to do some acting on the side. But mostly fashion journalism — it's more likely to keep me from starvation.
Tell us a little bit about your blog.
It's sort of a blend of fashion and photography and writing. I post mostly fashion, but I do some videos and stuff too. Basically, whatever I have to write about goes on the blog.
Tell us some of your goals (For anything really; school, your blog, the future, et cetera).
I don't have goals. When I was seven I wanted to be President of the United States, but then I found out there wasn't any such thing as the Cookies Are The Meaning Of Life party. That pretty much discouraged me from making any sort of goals since then.
What about your blog makes you proud?
As a recent debate proved, I have some views — especially about religion — that other people don't agree with. I'm proud to post those views and stick it to the people who don't like what I have to say. After aforementioned debate I lost around 20 followers and I'm proud of losing each and every one.
. So you all should check her out because her blog is positively amazing & delightful & lovable .
Hello everyone, I thought today I'd introduce you to my wonderful bookshelf that I love so dearly. It ispossibly the cleanest thing in my bedroom at the moment, which is a bit deviating from the norm.

My gorgeous set of the twilight saga. I don't believe I've even opened one of the books. You see, they're just too beautiful in their case. My mother bought me the set for christmas a few years back for $80 at Borders. Long live the Borders community.
My amazing & super-nerdy movies//wii games.
Fantastic shelf number 2.
I love these books dearly. They're all amazing and they've helped me shape who I am in some way. Yes, in some peculiar way.
Ah yes, my collection of Japanese goods.
I adore this part of my shelf.

Seashells & perfumes?
I do believe this is by-far the best thing in my bedroom. As for how he lives in such a mess, it's still unbeknownst to even me.
Truly, though, it looks nice when it's clean. I assure you. I haven't a clue as to how it ended up this way, but sooner or later the mess will clear. My narcotic tendencies will kick in within the next day or two and then the whole place will feel a little too empty, as I may throw out quite a bit of the nonsense mush.
Aside from my odd reading habits and absolutely volatile room hygeine, I seemed to have stumbled upon a very - cough cough - attractive looking photo of myself. Which can be found below.;
If you misunderstood the deliberate coughing, I was being sarcastic when I said the photo was attractive. But somehow I find myself, in a strange sense, liking the photo...even though I was lying on the floor...and I look drugged up or something along those lines.
Well, other than that, German club after school & hoo-ha goodiness. Hopefully I'll come around to cleaning my room...
...or, maybe not.
By the by, I got a fairly decent face shot of Vincent. Here it is.;
